Primary School Parents-tomorrow is the last day to return any cookie dough orders and money. We have to mail them in so we can get your cookie dough to you in a timely manner. We will not accept any orders turned in after Tuesday, February 22.

3rd Grade Parent Meeting - All parents of 3rd grade students need to attend this meeting. The meeting will be held at the elementary building on Thursday, February 17. Parents can attend the meeting either at 5:15 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. We will be discussing the Reading Sufficiency Act Law which allows your student to either promote to 4th grade or be retained.
3rd graders in Drain’s and Burchfield’s class researched, wrote, and reported out on their dinosaur. Lots of good facts were shared!
Marietta Choir hosted the 2022 Circle the State With Song Tuesday night, February 8. Around 90 students from area schools were selected to perform. Marietta had 10 Elementary students and 9 Middle School students perform. Thank you to our awesome music leaders, LaWanna Reed and Courtney Starsick Anderson for their leadership and love of music.

Don't forget the Child Health & Wellness Day is scheduled today at Eastside Baptist Church from 10-2. Legal guardian must be present. The Love County Health Department Baby Mobile will be on site with free diapers, formula and food for kids birth-3 years old.
After school tutoring will resume Monday, February 7, for all primary and elementary students.

Congratulations to Rocky Valenzuela and Trinity Kassheimer, they are Marietta high school’s January students of the month. For their hard work and good behavior, they receive a gift card donated by Sonic. Great job!!!
The Middle School Teacher of the Month for January is Ms Jennifer Dobbins. Jennifer is in her 11th year teaching and her fifth at Marietta. She taught four years in 5th grade and is in her first year at the Middle School teaching 7th and 8th grade Science. Congratulations Ms Dobbins, we are glad you are at the Middle School.
FCCLA officers and members were invited to join the National FCCLA staff for a virtual chapter visit at their weekly staff meeting. Marietta FCCLA was the 2nd chapter in the Nation to participate in this virtual meeting.
Our Primary School GEM for January is Mrs. Hartman. This is her first year with Marietta. She’s teaching Kindergarten and doing a wonderful job! She is an excellent addition to our team!
