Marietta FCCLA members attended the 76th annual FCCLA state convention today at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

Marietta FCCLA members volunteering at Citizens Caring for Children. Citizens Caring for Children is a nonprofit organization that provides resources for families caring for Foster Children in Oklahoma. Members have worked all year collecting new items to donate.





Congratulations to Elementary students on their win of the Oklahoma Keep Our Land Grand, Trash Poster Contest. Placing 3rd was Brylee Bartling, 2nd was Leann Pena and 1st place went to Josi Evans, all fourth grades at Marietta.


Mrs. Wolfe's 3rd grade class recently had the opportunity to hatch eggs in their classroom through the OSU Love County Extension Office. The students learned the three steps to hatching an egg; setting the egg, candling the egg, and finally the hatching. The kids loved the project from beginning to end.





Congratulations to Micaela Sanchez, Marietta Public Schools District Support Staff of the Year. Micaela began her career as the High School Secretary in 2000. She has been such an encouragement to so many students as they have passed through the high school halls. The district is so pleased to have such a wonderful staff member as part of the office staff.

Congratulations Robin Mayes on having been selected as Marietta Public School District Teacher of the Year. A very well earned honor after 33 years in education. The district is very blessed to have an educator with her experience and positive demeanor working with our students.

Middle School dance this Friday, March 25 in the cafeteria from 6:00 - 9:00. Tickets are $5.00 at the door.


Marietta FCCLA members competed in State FCCLA STAR Events on March 9-10 in Stillwater. Attending from Marietta were Gene Vazquez, Isabella Salas-Garcia, Emily Faulkenberry, Olivia Rutledge and Ryli Wilkinson.




Marietta high school and middle school art student's will have their work on display at the Goddard Center All School Art Exhibit. There will be an opening reception today, March 10th from 4:30-6:30 at the Goddard center in Ardmore. The art will be on display today through April 2nd. Go check out our young talented artists!

Congratulations to Marietta high school's Show and mixed choirs. There were 51 superior medals brought home by these hard working Marietta students at OSSAA Choir Districts on Wednesday.
