Thank you Judge Hicks! Our 5th graders were very engaged and eager to hear about what jury duty and a trial looks like. They were able to work through the entire process based on the story evidence from The Three Little Pigs.





Pre-K students presented their Nursery Rhyme Matinee today! They were all very well-spoken & brave reciting their nursery rhymes in front of a big audience! Keep shining bright! ⭐️











What a phenomenal day to be Marietta Singing Indian! Our entire Show Choir received State Medals today with every student bringing anywhere from 1-5 medals each. Today we’re bringing home a total of 36 Superior State medals and 9 Excellent Certificates!

Marietta sophomore student Jorge Remis has won the highest honor at the State level in the ODOT Oklahoma Trash Poster Contest. Out of 3,847 posters from the State of Oklahoma. He has won Promotional Poster of the Year and his poster will be featured as the center fold in the 2026 ODOT Trash Poster Calendar along with winning a $300 prize. He was recognized at a ceremony on Wednesday, April 16th at the Capital in OKC. This is a super high honor and we are all so proud of Jorge!

Congratulations to Mrs. McCarroll! She was voted Marietta Elementary Teacher of the Year! She is a third grade teacher here dedicated to teaching and learning! We are lucky to have her!!!


Congratulations to Mr. Randy Thurman - the Marietta Middle School Teacher of the Year!! Mr. Thurman is the ELL teacher and has been at Marietta Schools for two years. Prior to Marietta, he spent 16 years teaching at Wichita Falls. Mr. Thurman is an outstanding teacher and also an exceptional role model who inspires and motivates his students daily. Congratulations!!!


Congratulations to Allie Jackson. Allie placed 3rd at FCCLA State STAR Events in her Leadership Level 1 competition. She will be advancing to the National competitions this summer in Orlando, Florida at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference.
