Enrollment for 2022-23 has now opened. Complete your student's online enrollment now and no further action will be needed in the fall. Early enrollment helps ensure students receive the classes they prefer. All building secretaries are available to help with password resets or other issues you may encounter.

The High School band had a successful day at OSU competing in OSSAA state band contest. The group received Superior and Excellent ratings. Congratulations to all of our band students for being awesome!!!


Middle School State testing starts Thursday, April 21. Check out the Marietta calendar for specific details. It is important your child is at school on time, well rested and had breakfast prior to testing time. Breakfast is available each morning at 7:30 in the school cafeteria.

State testing for 3rd and 4th grade students starts next week on Wednesday. Check our calendar of events on the web-site to verify dates. Please make every effort to ensure your child is present, eats a good healthy breakfast and gets plenty of rest the night before. We want them to do their best on the test!

On April 11th and 12th, 15 Marietta high school students performed on the Chorvettes Honor Show Choir. The show was hosted by the Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Chorvettes Theater Group. These students worked super hard and put on a great show.

Allen Benson and Tom Hefley of Michelin presented Marietta juniors and seniors with some great career opportunities. Michelin is offering seniors and juniors the chance to attend Murray state college and receive an associates degree in applied science tuition free, paid for by the Michelin Tech scholarship program. Students have to first pass an exam to be admitted into the program.


Online enrollment for 2022-23 is opening April 15. Just a reminder that school will be closed on Friday and Monday so if you have forgotten your guardian online access contact your building secretary today to be reset and ready for Friday!

Emily Faulkenberry is representing Marietta and Love County 4-H today at 4-H Day at the Capital. 4-H members from across the state are advocating for 4-H and Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Services by visiting with legislators.

Congratulations to Aubrey Freeman and Annalise Vivyan. Aubrey’s art project placed 3rd at the Goddard Centers Art All Schools Exhibit while Annalise was honorable mention.


Special Olympic athletes participated in area track and field events yesterday in Durant. Several students placed and are headed to state in May. In addition, the Drain family were honored as the Red River Family of the Year. Kassie Drain is a 3rd grade teacher completing her ninth year at Marietta and her son Wyatt, a 7th grader, has attended school here since Pre-K. We are so proud to have the Drain family as a part of our Marietta school family.





Although we did experience some inclement weather resulting in snow weather days, school we still be closed for our previously planned "snow" days of April 18, May 6, and May 13. Enjoy the beautiful spring weather!

Don't miss tonight's musical, 50's Spring Program, presented by Mrs. Reed and the 3rd and 4th grade classes. The program will start at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. We encourage you to park in the primary/elementary parking lot and walk over to the auditorium.
