Our Primary School students were treated to a visit from the Marietta Fire Department yesterday! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us!

Mrs. Presley's first-grade class discussed the states of matter and did a candy corn experiment. The students made a hypothesis about which liquid would dissolve the candy corn the fastest. They really enjoyed seeing the changes!

See you tonight at McClain Stadium!! Go Indians!!!
Some middle school students, in Mrs. Bucher's class, have been learning about career options and got to explore the career of law enforcement and the SWAT team. Thank you to Officer Bucher and Officer McBride for bringing their SWAT Armored Vehicle and telling students about their job.

Osvaldo Ramos was our first student to purchase the "Principal for a Period" pass from our R.I.S.E. Store and cashed it in today. He did a great job of helping out and had fun too.

Hope to see you everyone tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 16th at McClain Stadium. Kickoff 7pm Go Indians!!!

Mrs. Blevins' Pre-K class had some special guest readers today! Mrs. Jesenia Sanchez and Mrs. Yesenia Sanchez, our Primary ELL teacher and assistant, read the book "My Colors, My World, Mis colores, mi mundo" to the students. They read the book in English and Spanish, discussed what it means to be bilingual, and learned how to say some colors in Spanish!
You don't know loud until you've been to a pep rally with 500+ primary and elementary students! Our students LOVED our pep rally for tonight's game. Thank you MHS to sharing the school pride with us!

Our Pre-K classes spent the week learning all about letter D and were Letter Detectives. They looked for clues to find missing letters of the alphabet, and today, they followed clues to find a sneaky Dinosaur that stole all of their Donuts!

Congrats to NovaLee and Alfredo for winning our "On-Time" drawing. Every day students are in the building by 7:59 am, they earn a ticket into the drawing. At the end of each week, a lucky winner is drawn. Being on time daily is a great habit to have!!

Who has the BEST custodians? We do! We do! Maria and Josefina work so hard to keep our elementary building clean and neat! Happy Custodians' Day!

Mark your calendars!! Fall Festival Oct. 23rd 5pm-8pm
