
Karrie Johnston is Marietta high school’s Healthcorp representative. She hosts monthly “Cafe O’Yea” sessions in the cafeteria where teaches the students about the importance of healthy mind, body and spirit. Today, the students created a”wall of togetherness”, in which they celebrated each other’s uniqueness.


Marietta High School’s leadership class dressed up for the elementary students as their favorite character. They spent the class period reading to the students, as they do every day.

Congratulations to Elementary's latest GEM (Great Education Matters) winner, Patty Clure. Mrs. Clure has been instructing Special Education at Marietta for 2 years and has been teaching for 21 years. Mrs. Clure was nominated for this award by her colleagues.

On Wednesday, Marietta High School hosted a college and career fair in the gymnasium. Along with Marietta, Thackerville and Turner took advantage of this opportunity to talk to college officials and various employers from around the area. As you can see by crowd of people, the fair was a huge success. Marietta ISD would like to thank all of the businesses and colleges that took part in our fair.
