Due to increased optimism from health officials and the National Coronavirus task force, a traditional graduation and prom COULD be a possibility. At this time we are waiting to see if enough restrictions are lifted that we could have them in July. Please be patient!!!

High School distance education plan
Re-posting to Live Feed - view attached letter on school website or Facebook. Good afternoon, Marietta Indians! Teachers and Administrators are working hard from home to get ready for our state mandated distance learning that is starting next week. Our world is stressful enough right now, so parents and students please do not stress over this! Distance learning is not meant to take a lot of time each day and will be a review of skills or games and projects using skills already learned. It will not take as much time as it would in a regular school day. Depending on the grade level, it should take no more than 30 minutes to an hour in lower grades to 1 -2 hours for high school students per day to complete. Many of our older students have been using a digital format in most of their classes already. We will have flexible solutions for students who have internet at home and those who do not. We will also check out computers for students who have internet, but just need a device to be successful. See attached for our schedule for picking up personal items, checking out devices as well as other pertinent info regarding distance learning. We appreciate your patience with us through this process as this is all new to many of us as well. Principals' emails are listed on the attached letter. Please email your child's building principal if you have specific questions. You can also call your child's building or our main number at 276-9444 and leave a message that will be directed to the appropriate person.
