Primary School Parents-your child’s teacher contacted you today to let you know what to expect for distance learning. If they asked you to pick up a packet or if you need to check out a Chromebook, you may do so between 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12 & Tuesday, October 13. Good morning! Our first day of distance learning is about to get started. Although we’d much rather be in school, we will all get through this together! Be looking for more information today from your child’s site & teachers on how to be successful in distance learning. Our staff that are not currently quarantined are on campus so if you have questions you can call or email. Thank you for your understanding!
Marietta High school students, during this time of distance learning your teachers will need to have Zoom/Google meets sessions with you. To avoid any confusion, your teachers will send a link to you via your school email. This link will stay open all day. You will need to log in during the time you would normally have that class. Remember, your teachers will be taking grades on these assignments.

Have you ever dreaded parent-teacher conference because, let's just be honest, after working all day you would rather be at home in your p.j.s? Well great news! This year that's exaclty how you can get an update on your student's progress. Virtual P-T conferences will be held by phone for all campuses on Monday evening from 3:30 to 9:00 p.m. Schedule yours today!
It truly takes a village in times like these and we are so thankful for the generous donations we have received to help us keep our students and staff safe and healthy. This latest donation is from Michelin. They graciously donated a huge amount of reusable & disposable masks, lanyards to help kids keep up with their masks, gallons of hand sanitizer with pumps, a backpack fogger for sanitizing buildings/surfaces & a temperature screener to be placed at the entrance of the high school. Thank you, Michelin, for supporting our school!

Parents-Don’t forget! We will dismiss school one hour early at 2:00 tomorrow because the Homecoming Parade will begin at 3:00. Buses will run one hour earlier than normal. If you have any transportation changes for your child, please notify the school office before 12:00. Thank you!

Congratulations to senior Monica Flores and sophomore Eddie Zapata. They are Marietta high school”s student’s of the month for September. Monica and Eddie are truly amazing kids. They work hard in school and both are leaders in their respective sports. Awesome job!!!
