Senior Spotlight Ashleigh Marie Wood Ashleigh is the 18 year old daughter of Heather and Michael Cummings (mother and stepfather) and Lance Wood (father) and the granddaughter of James and Linda Alexander, Don and Linda Cummings, Cecil and Becky Wood, John and Nancy Sjulin, Preston and Donna Dalton, Nancy Evans and Roger Hollister. During time at Marietta High School, Ashleigh has been involved in FFA 4 years, show choir 1 year, Student Council freshman and sophomore year and Leadership. She has also received Principal's honor roll. During her free time she has been involved in dance for 13 years, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, spending money and working at the daycare. She attends First United Methodist Church in Ardmore, OK and her future plans include to attend college at Texas Tech University to study Early Childhood Education and become a kindergarten teacher

Senior Spotlight Allison Burney Hicks Allison is the 18 year old daughter of T. Todd and Shelly Hicks and the granddaughter of William “Tim” Hicks, Rilda Renick, and Juanita Carter. While attending Marietta High School, Allison has been involved in FFA 5 years, FCCLA 5 years, Softball 6 years, Track 2 years, Student Council 2 years, Bowling 3 years and Basketball 2 years. She has also received the following honors and awards National Honor Society 3 years, Principal’s Honor Roll 5 years, Superintendent’s Honor Roll 3 years and Marietta FFA Officer 3 years. During her free time Allison enjoys painting, showing livestock, cooking, hanging out with friends, playing monopoly, petting Baylor and Hydo, watching Mitchy and watching Netflix. She attends Marietta Church of Christ and her future plans include to attend Rose State College and obtain an associate degree in Dental Hygiene then move to Wyoming.

Senior Spotlight Galilea Baca Galilea is the 17 year old daughter of Miguel Baca & Susana Hernandez and the granddaughter of the (late) Maria Guerra and Jose Guerra and the (late) Daniel Baca Ruiz & Maria Jimenez Aguilar. During her time at Marietta High School she has been involved in National Technical Honor Society 2 years, Show Choir 3 years , HOSA 2 years, Choir 1 year, Basketball 1 year. She has received many awards including Superior rating at Little Dixie Choir Competition, Winner of a superior rating at the state music contest and district contest, winner of an excellent rating at the OSSAA music contest x3, winner of an excellent rating at the OSSAA music contest (state), Second place at the Love County Conservation District, OACD Youth Contest 2nd place, Perfect attendance award (sophomore year). During her free time she enjoys drawing, painting, coloring, singing, playing (Nintendo) video games, hanging out with family, watching Naruto, designing outfits, taking care of animals, watching Kirby Right Back At Ya, and taking care of my Animal Crossing town. She plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in Biology Pre-Med Science after that become a medical student at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and become a general surgeon.

Senior Spotlight Jacob Kale Wiley Jacob is the 18 year old Stephanie Dewbre and the grandson of the late Janell Swick and Gary and Sue Hawkins. While attending Marietta High School, Jacob has been involved in Special Olympics, band, ag, FCCLA, and Finance. He has won the following honors and awards, FCCLA Vice President, 2nd Place in FCCLA Table Setting, received 1st place in Horseshoes 2 years, Silver Certification in Video Production, Adobe Premiere Pro Certification, recognized for Youth Leadership Forum in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the State of Oklahoma Citation Of Recognition from Representative Tommy Harden and the State of Oklahoma Citation Youth Leadership Delegate from Senator Frank Simpson. During his free time he enjoys video production, video games, and bowling. He attends Church of Christ in Marietta, Oklahoma and his future plans include to work in video production and pursue a singing career.

Senior Spotlight Karley Ann Riley Karley is the 17 year old daughter of JT and Ashley Riley and the granddaughter of Linda and David Patton and Paul and Gale Riley. During her time at Marietta High School, Karley has been involved in softball, track, band, speech, FCCLA, National Honor Society, FCA ,the nursing program at Southern Tech and served as the school mascot for 2 years. She received the following awards and honors, National Technical Honor Society, National Honor Society, All American Mascot and Softball, Perfect Attendance at Southern Tech, registered CNA and CMA, and Phlebotomist. During her free time she enjoys fishing, hanging out with family, friends, and her boyfriend. She attends Marietta’s First Baptist Church and her future plans include to attend Murray State , transfer to Langston University and obtain her RN Degree.

Senior Spotlight Javier Serrano Javier is the 18 year old son of Marisol Serrano and Javier Serrano Morales and the grandson of Rosario Rivas, Chago Rivas & Queta Serrano & Late Ángel Serrano. While attending Marietta High School, Javier has been involved in football, student council and leadership. He has received the following awards and honors ,Football District Special Teams Honorable mention, School Vice President and Being friends with OU legend Austin Seibert. His hobbies include kicking field goals, fishing and hanging out with his friends. His future plans include to attend college and obtain a biology degree in order to get into dental school, receive his D.D.S and become a Dentist.

Senior Spotlight Oliver Serrano Oliver is the 18 year old son of Moy and Maria Serrano and the grandson of Pilo and Amparo Serrano and Alphonse and Vincenta Barientos. While at attending Marietta High School Oliver played basketball , won Prom King and Homecoming King as well as voted most handsome. He was also voted as best defender in the soccer league out of Denton, TX. His hobbies include spending time with his family, listening to music, looking at shoes that cost way too much and hanging out with his buddies. He attends Good Shepherd Catholic Mission Church in Marietta, OK and his future plans include to attend OSU-IT and major in HVAC.

Senior Spotlight Brisa Rueda Brisa is the 18 year old daughter of Jose C. Rueda and Cipriana Barrientos and the granddaughter of Carmel Rueda , María Asunción Castañeda, Mateo Barrientos and Julia Salazar. During her time at Marietta High School, Brisa has been involved in the following activities, softball, track, FCCLA , FFA and FCA. She has been on the A&B Honor Roll and the Principal’s Honor Roll. Her hobbies include shopping, spending time with family, friends, and her boyfriend. She attends Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Marietta, OK and her future plans are to attend Murray State College and become a Labor and Delivery RN.

Senior Spotlight Cody Jordan Hicks Cody is the 18 year old son of Allen and Jennifer Hicks and the grandson of Dewey and Donna Hicks and Denise Trivitt and the late Dwayne Trivitt. While attending Marietta High School , Cody has been involved in football, track, FFA, and powerlifting and qualified for state in 2020. He has won many awards including National Honor Society , Vice President FFA 19’-20’, FFA Treasurer 18’-19’, FFA Sentinel 17’-18’, 2017 All-Ardmoreite Football, 2018 All-Ardmoreite Track, 2019 All Ardmoreite Football and 2019 All-District Offensive Lineman. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends. He attends Enville Community Church in Enville, OK and his future plans include to attend OSU-IT and major in HVAC to pursue Journeyman exam and certification.

During the coming weeks maintenance is being conducted to our student information system. The process will combine duplicate parent/guardian records. Senior Spotlight Mandy Page Sykora Mandy is the 17 year old daughter of Brent and Tina Sykora and the granddaughter of the late Charles and Peggy Sykora and the late Wayne and late Joyce Varner. During her time at Marietta High School , Mandy has been involved in Cross Country, Track, Basketball, Bowling, National Honor Society, Student Council, Yearbook, FCA, 4-H and FFA. She has received many awards including KXII A+ Student Athlete, Superintendent's Honor Roll, Marietta High School Student Body President, Oklahoma Girls State Delegate (2019), Oklahoma Youth Tour Delegate (2019), 3x Cross Country Team State Champions, 5x Individual Cross Country and Track and Field State Champion. During her free time she enjoys running, cooking, and games with family and friends. She attends Shady Dale Baptist Church and her future plans include attending Arkansas Tech University as a student athlete on the women's cross country and track and field team and studying Digital Marketing and Business Management. Senior Spotlight Vegas Loraine Bell Vegas is the 17 year old daughter of Chris and Ranae Bell and the granddaughter of Bill and Marcia Bell and Justin and the late Mary Yearby. During her time at Marietta High School, Vegas has been involved in student council, leadership, track, cross country, FCA and 4H. She has received many awards including, Cross Country State Champion 3 years, Class Vice President, National Honor Society, Girls State Delegate, and 4H Club Vice President. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, reading books and playing with her little sister. Senior Spotlight Kristlyn Nicole Farris Krsitlyn is the 18 year old daughter of Troy and Tiffiny Farris and the granddaughter of the late Darlena Pelt, Michael Breaux, and the late Troy Farris , Kelly Ryan. She has been involved in band and her hobbies include spending time with family and always hanging out with her best friend RayAnna. Senior Spotlight LaKira Michelle Anderson LaKira is the 18 year old daughter of Brylun Anderson and Kasie Colston and the granddaughter of Lisa and Bobby Anderson , Teresa and Manuel Ortega and Martha and Randall Colston. While attending Marietta High School, LaKira has been involved in track, softball, FFA, and the Cosmetology program at Southern Tech as well as SkillsUSA member. She has won many awards including National Technical Honor Society, Perfect Attendance, A&B Honor Roll and All A Honor Roll. Her hobbies include hanging out with her boyfriend and family, drawing, playing video games, sleeping and watching movies. Her future plans include to go to college, get a good job and have a lot money, marry her current boyfriend, buy a huge house and have her own makeup brand. Senior Spotlight Dylan Michael Prather Dylan is the 18 year old son of Kimberly Prather and stepdad Johnathon Boswell, Jamey Prather and stepmom Kasie Prather and the grandson of Reba and Jose Rueda, Teresa Prather, John Stovall, Dennis and Darla Boswell, and Robbin and Gary Hill. During his time at Marietta High School , Dylan participated in football, power lifting, where he qualified for State, FFA and FCCLA. He attends All Faith Baptist Church and his future plans include to go to OSU-IT and become certified in power plant operations.

Senior Spotlight DaNea Briann Lehman DaNea is the 18 year old daughter of Teresa Lehman and the late George Lehman and the granddaughter of David and Marie Payne and David and Cora Lehman. During her time at Marietta High School , DaNea has been involved in choir, band and FCCLA. Her hobbies include spending time with her great niece and nephew. She attends Eastside Baptist Church and her future plans include to become and LPN.

Senior Spotlight Bailey Yohn Bailey is the 19 year old daughter of Shannon Yohn and Step Father Shawn Beal and Donny Yohn and granddaughter of Sherry Boosamra and Bill Lenard. While at Marietta High School she has been involved in FCCLA and choir. Her hobbies include reading and drawing. Her future plans include to go to college and receive a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
