
The first day of school is upon us once again. In case you haven't noticed, there is a construction fence surrounding the student parking lot and most of the teacher/parent parking at the high school. With classes beginning on Thursday, August 12, there will be some traffic and parking changes for the duration of construction of our new high school/middle school.
-To park in the morning, students will need to drive east on Myall street, turn left on football way and enter the midlle/elementary parking lot throught the middle entrance. ONLY STUDENTS AND SCHOOL STAFF WILL BE ALLOWED TO TURN LEFT ON FOOTBALL WAY!
-Students will need to exit throught the middle entrance/exit and drive west on Gillam street out of the parking lot at lunch and after school.
-Parking stickers will be required for all high school students parking on any school property. Parking stickers can be purchased in the high school office for $5.00 dollars. You must have a current valid driver's license and current car insurance.

High school students who attend Southern Tech will need to park in the football stadium parking lot. The Southern Tech bus will pick up and drop off at that location while the construction of our new high schholl/middle school is under construction.

Pick up parent hang tags in the elementary building, instead of cafe, today until 2:00 pm. All parents of students that are picked up from elementary/primary will need this hang tag before the first day of school, this Thursday.

Primary/elementary class lists are posted for all of the enrolled students.

Primary/Elementary Parents - Please stop by the cafeteria Monday, August 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to obtain your student car rider pick-up tag for the 2021-22 school year. A new tag will be issued each year.

Marietta Elementary will be hosting Meet the Teacher on Wednesday, August 11 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend Meet the Teacher we will have staff ready to assist students with class location Thursday morning.

Marietta high school students can come pick up their schedules on Wednesday, August 11th, from 9:00-2:00. Freshman students are welcome to come up during this time and familiarize themselves with the high school building. Remember, students must be fully enrolled to start school on Aug. 12th.

Returning students must be enrolled by this Friday, August 6. Failure to complete online enrollment by this date may delay the start date for your student. Please use contactus@mariettaisd.org for assistance or questions about online enrollment.

Middle School Parents: Please see the attached flyer with information about schedule pick up.


Middle School students entering 7th grade must have a TDAP shot prior to the first day of school, August 12. If you have not gotten it yet, please get it scheduled ASAP.

Primary School Parents: Please see the attached flyer with information about our Meet the Teacher on Wednesday, August 11 from 1:00-3:00PM.


Marietta Public Schools is again providing all school supplies for students in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Students in Pre-K will need to provide their own sleep mat.

Senior Panel and Cap and Gown pictures will take place on August 5th and 6th in the lobby of the auditorium. Letters will be mailed early next week regarding dates and times for seniors to arrive. If you have any questions please email Mrs. Ramon at lramon@mariettaisd.org.

Congratulations to the Love County FCS Skills-A-Thon team consisting of Marietta 4-H members Taryn Blankenship and Emily Faulkenberry and Homeschool 4-H member Camdyn Cook, they placed 1st at the State 4-H FCS Skills-A-Thon competition in Stillwater and will advance to the National Competition in Denver, CO.

Online enrollment for the 2021-22 school year has now opened. If you completed enrollment in the spring you will not need to complete again. Congratulations to Marietta High School Cheerleaders who received a superior on their first evaluation at cheer camp this week. We hope they have a great week and we are looking forward to seeing them on the field this fall.

Emily Faulkenberry was selected to represent Oklahoma as one of the States Voting Delegates at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Nashville. Congratulations Emily!!!

Graduaton packets for 2021 graduates are available for pickup. The packet includes the student's diploma, transcripts etc. These can be picked up at the Marietta high school office Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm. Fines for Chrombooks, hotspots, books, cafeteria charges etc, will need to be paid before the student can be given their graduation packet.
