Awards assembly is Monday, May 22 at 10:00 am in the auditorium.
Also, chromebooks, chargers, hot spots and library books are to be turned in Monday morning. Please help your student get these items to school. If your child has lost any of these items, contact the office for the amount owed.

Marietta high school is in the process of taking up Chromebooks and hot spots this week. Please bring any electronic device provided by the school to the high school office to avoid any charges.

MHS’s FCCLA Chapter has selected and announced its officers for the 2023-24 school year. Selected as President is Emily Faulkenberry, with Olivia Rutledge to serve as 1 st Vice President. Vice President of Community will be Madi Michael; Vice President of Membership, Ryli Wilkinson; and Vice President of Public Relations, Jayli Sampson.
5th Grade Parent Meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Ms. Tucker will be reviewing material related to electives and all class selections for the upcoming year.

2nd graders visited 3rd grade classrooms today. They were able to learn about the school work 3rd graders do, the expectations for learning, and ask questions of our current 3rd grade students. We are excited to have this group of 2nd graders next year!

MHS student council members helped set up the MHS reunion that is being held this weekend at the county barn.

Congratulations to Ms. LeeAnn Hicks for being selected Middle School Teacher of the Month for April. Ms. Hicks teaches 6th grade Language Arts and Reading. Her students said this about her: "She loves her students and goes out of her way to make lessons fun and exciting"; "She is the best teacher ever and has a smile on her face"; "She is a hard working teacher and she always tries to make work fun" and finally "she is very caring, super kind and funny." The Love County Health Department is hosting an upcoming event, May 17 from 10-2, at Eastside Baptist Church. Not only will they have the Baby Mobile there for free diapers, formula and food but also a car seat check-up. They can also assist with SoonerCare and Snap applications.
Our Primary School GEM for April is Ms. Conway! She teaches Pre-K for us and is an outstanding teacher! Her classroom is a fun place to learn!
