Thank you to our community fire fighters. They taught our elementary students about fire safety and the work a fire fighter does. The students enjoyed the hands on learning.
We kicked off Fire Safety Week with a visit from one of our favorite firefighters, Firefighter Kirk! We appreciate him taking the time to teach our students all about fire safety!

Marietta's TSA (Technology Student Association) recently attended a leadership conference. TSA is a new club created last year, led by Sharon Manley, for students with interest in technology.

Thank you to Mrs. Good for being a good sport and allowing the students to tape her to the wall for IHOP week. Money raised from the last two weeks of fundraisers will be used for a Marietta student who is currently being treated for cancer.
Congratulations to our elementary Special Olympics Team! They competed last week in bowling and won the following: Branson Willis, 1st place; Alex Greenwood, 2nd place; and 3rd place for Josef Friaire, Tommy Greenwood, and Jaxon Maldonado.
Thank you to BancFirst Marietta for dinner provided for the high school staff during parent/teacher conference. Barbeque never disappoints! Also thank you to Mrs. Faulkenberry's FCCLA for preparing a charcuterie board for the staff to enjoy as well!

Marietta High School is celebrating IHOP (Indians Helping Out People) October 2 - 13th. Some of the activities include penny wars, jail day, and tape a teacher. The fundraisers will be donated to Olivia Clamon, a Marietta Kindergartner, to help with the costs associated with cancer treatments.
Marietta McClain Stadium will be the site of the 2023 Love County Field of Faith event on Wednesday, October 18, from 6-8 p.m. Check out the flyer for more details.

Balfour will be at Marietta High School October 10 @ 9:00 a.m. All high school students are encouraged to meet with the Balfour staff if interested in letterman jackets, class rings or senior graduation materials.
Impact Aid Form Surveys were recently sent home with our Marietta students. Parent participation is critical to continue the funding received through this survey.
