Marietta Public Schools

It was Colonial Day in 5th grade! Ladies from History Connection Co. and OKAGE came to share life and customs from Colonial American times. Students learned how to make a corn husk doll, how to play hoop games, and manners/roles of students and teachers. There was also a HUGE floor map of the world from the late 1700s. Students walked on this map while they identified trade routes and located the original 13 colonies.
