Congratulations to Kylie Slawson & Hailey Dasilva for their winning entries in the REA Youth Tour contest. Kylie won 3rd & received $500. Hailey won 2nd which is an all expense paid trip to Washington DC this summer! Also pictured is their amazing English teacher, Tonya Bucher.

Wednesday, February 12, Marietta High School powerlifters attended the Allen Powerlifting Invitational. Eight of ten Indian lifters placed in the Top 12 in their division and weight class, among them seniors Dylan Prather, left, who placed second, and Cody Hicks, right, who placed fifth. Recently, students in Marietta Primary Pre-K classes learned about different modes of transportation. Arbuckle Driving School supplied a truck, which students were able to climb inside of to see how one mode of land transportation works. High School Choirs received all Excellent Ratings. Three ensembles "Shady Grove", "The Moon", and "Wade in the Water" received Superior Ratings (they qualify for STATE). Three Ensembles "Homeward Bound", "Give Us Hope", and "Count the Stars" received Excellent Ratings. 5 HS solos received Superior Ratings Jack O'Neal, Chris Smith, Colours Starsick, Tanasia Randle, and Mackenzie Kyle (they qualify for STATE). 8 HS Solos received Excellent Ratings Jean Vazquez, Abygail Barrientos, Alyssa Langley, Angel Follis, Emily Briggs, Timberlee Riley, Nicole Stewart, and Hollie Tanaka.
Congratulations to all the kids who participated today!!! Hard work paid off and we are proud of each and everyone for all of their dedication!
