On February 6, Marietta High School FCCLA members competed in Regional STAR Events in Prague.
STAR Events are competitive events for members of FCCLA where students are recognized for their proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills and career preparation.
Elaina Avirneni placed first in New Member Facts Level 1 and will be advancing to state in March. Emily Faulkenberry placed first in Teach or Train Level 2 and will be advancing to state. Trinnity Mantzke competed in Work Ready Child Care Teacher’s Aide Level 1 and Andrew Perkins competed in Creed Speaking Level 1.
State STAR Event competition will take place in Stillwater on March 22 and 23.
