Marietta High School’s Lady Indians powerlifting team won the Southern Regional Small School
Championship held in Durant on March 1. Amanda Flores, Yesenia Salazar, Melanie Ortiz, and Crystal
Castaneda qualified for the state meet which was held March 7 in Dickson.
The Indians team were the Regional Runners-up in their contest held in Anadarko on March 4. Draden
Reynolds, Kaden Dudley, Titus Higle, and Edward Hill qualified for the state meet held in El Reno on
March 12.
Coach Alex Doby was proud of the effort put forth by both teams.
