At the regularly scheduled February meeting of the Board of Education held on Monday night, board members voted to rehire all the district’s principals.
Included in the rehiring were high school principal Adam Sherfield, currently in his fourth year with the district; Ron Norman, assistant high school principal, completing his first year with MPS; Carrie Tucker, in her fourth year, who serves as the middle school’s principal; elementary principal Dana McMillin, in her 10th year with the district; Tammi O’Steen, in her first year as the assistant elementary principal; and Ann Rutledge, the primary principal, who is in her 17th year with the district.
