Marietta High School’s Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America chapter has
been named a recipient of the 2025-26 Ultimate Chapter Award, a national recognition
honoring chapters for their outstanding commitment, participation, and achievement
throughout the school year.
To earn this distinction, Marietta FCCLA accumulated points through active participation
in FCCLA activities, events, grants, national programs and communications. The award
recognizes chapters that go above and beyond to provide meaningful leadership
opportunities for their members while making a positive impact in their schools and
communities.
Marietta FCCLA members demonstrated their dedication to leadership, community
service, and personal growth through a variety of chapter projects and activities.
Members worked to address needs within their school and community, developed
valuable leadership skills and participated in opportunities designed to prepare them for
future success.
“This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our FCCLA members,”
siad Marietta FCCLA adviser Amanda Faulkenberry. “I am incredibly proud of the
opportunities our students have embraced and the difference they continue to make in
our school and community. Their willing ness to serve others, step outside their comfort
zones, and grow as leaders is what makes our chapter so special.”
The Ultimate Chapter Award celebrates chapters that actively embrace the FCCLA
mission and take advantage of the organization's many opportunities for student
involvement. By earning this recognition, Marietta FCCLA joins chapters across the
nation being celebrated for their commitment to developing student leaders and
strengthening their communities.
Although the award recognizes work done in the previous school year, the list of
recipients was released just days ago.
