Marietta High School has announced a special night for senior parents.

Next Monday, August 31 at 6 p.m., parents of high school seniors are invited to the

student commons area in the high school to meet with a representative from East

Central University who will be available to help parents complete Oklahoma’s Promise

paperwork.

Students who meet income guidelines may qualify for free tuition in Oklahoma’s public

colleges and universities with Oklahoma’s Promise scholarships.

“A new law also includes the children of Oklahoma’s teachers in the qualifying pool,”

said MHS Counselor Danielle Neble.

For more information or questions about Oklahoma’s Promise or next Monday evening,

contact Neble at (580) 276-9444, extension 5003.

“We are asking parents to bring two years of income taxes with them if they would like

assistance,” Neble said. “We will have a translator on site.”
