First year Marietta FCCLA Member Bella Faulkenberry attended the FCCLA Ultimate
Leadership Camp in Anadarko this summer.
Faulkenberry spent three days learning leadership skills, teamwork, and overcoming
challenging tasks through a low ropes course and several other activities.
“Leadership camp was hands-on leadership, so it really felt more like fun, but all the
time I was learning leadership and making new friends,” said Faulkenberry. “I can’t wait
to go again next year to gain more leadership skills and make more friends.”
Faulkenberry was one of 50 FCCLA members from across the state of Oklahoma in
various grade levels who attended the camp, which was sponsored by the Oklahoma
Alumni and Associates.
