Administrators at Marietta Public Schools have released several dates for end-of-year

activities to better prepare parents for the busy spring season.

The annual FFA banquet will be held Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. The

FCCLA end-of-year celebration will be in the FCCLA room at 7:30 p.m.

Elementary students will enjoy several educational days, beginning May 7 with the

fourth grade Natural Resources Field Trip and the fifth grade Colonial Day. On Monday,

May 11, fifth graders will take a field trip to the capitol.

The choir concert for middle and high school students will be held Thursday, May 7 at 7

p.m. in the auditorium and the band concert will be Tuesday, May 12 at 7 p.m., also in

the auditorium.

Several senior activities are scheduled for the week of May 11 through 15, beginning

with the senior scholarship assembly, which will be held on Monday, May 11 at 6 p.m. in

the school auditorium. Seniors will take their Legacy Walk through primary, elementary,

middle, and high school hallways on Thursday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m. and will follow that

up at 1 p.m. with Color My Campus.

The Pre-K end-of-year program is scheduled for 9 a.m. on May 13 in the school

auditorium. Additionally, the Special Olympics State Games are scheduled for May 13

through 15.

The All-Sports Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria on Thursday, May 14 and

prom will be Friday, May 15 at Lake Murray Lodge.

Baccalaureate for the Class of 2026 will be Sunday, May 17 at 6 p.m. at Marietta’s First

Baptist Church.

Several events are scheduled for Monday, May 18, beginning with the middle school

awards assembly at 9 a.m. in the auditorium. The high school awards assembly will

follow at 1 p.m., also in the auditorium. Also held at 1 p.m. will be the Fifth Grade Walk,

taking place in the elementary hallways.

Elementary Field Day will be held at the McClain Stadium on Tuesday, May 19, weather

permitting, and the kindergarten graduation will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

The last senior event before graduation will be the Senior Sunset held Tuesday, May 19

on the football field, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 20, the elementary awards assembly will take place at 9:30 a.m. in

the auditorium.

Thursday, May 21 will bring not only the last day of classes for students, but also senior

graduation. Ceremonies will be held at 8 p.m., either in McClain Stadium or the

auditorium, depending on weather conditions.
