Marietta High School’s Aycee Dudley attended the four-day FCCLA District Officer
Training this summer at Oakridge Camp near Anadarko.
Dudley will be serving during the coming year as the FCCLA Southeast 1 District Vice
President of Public Relations. DOT is a training for all of the state’s district officers,
designed to help them learn the duties and responsibilities of their office, as well as to
promote team building and leadership. District officers also began planning for their
District Leadership Conferences to be held in the fall.
Dudley said she enjoyed the DOT conference, particularly singing karaoke with her
friends.
“DOT is an amazing camp that takes five members from different schools in our area
and helps them lean to work together as an officer team,” said MHS FCCLA Advisor
Amanda Faulkenberry. “Officers not only create lasting friendships within their officer
team, but with other officers across the state, as well.”
