Junior high and high school students of Choir Director Courteney Starsick participated in the Southeastern All-District Honor Choir Festival held Thursday, October 26 on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant.
Choirs were under the guest direction of Amy Pitts Knous and Dr. Tony Thornton, accompanied by Carolyn Capuano and Landon Johnson.
Marietta junior high students honored were Claire McGehee, Brice Carlile, Cynthia Lopez, and Benito Maldonado.
High school honor choir members were Rebekah Alberda, Ace Austin, Eva Bucher, Alexis Creasman, and Haylen Lowery.
In addition to her place in the honor choir, Alberda was named as a six-year medalist.
