On Thursday August 31, the Marietta FFA Chapter hosted their yearly Welcome Back Bash. Watermelon and refreshments were served to approximately 50 students and 20 parents.

Students participated in water activities, volleyball, and cornhole. Students and parents got the chance to see the FFA officers perform their opening ceremonies. The members also got to hear Ag Advisors Josh Bazor and Kelsi Kamesch explain the chapter's goals for the upcoming year.

“Our favorite part about the Welcome Back Bash was definitely the watermelon and volleyball,” said first year members Elaina Avirneni and Izabella Fernandez.

“I was surprised that I actually had a good time, because I thought FFA was all about animals and farming,” said Avirneni.

The chapter was eager to see so many members attend this year’s Welcome Back Bash and is excited to see what this year has to offer.
